BINGO fundraiser at the three day Hillyard Festival the first weekend in August
We provide eye exams, glasses and hearing support for needy
We contribute annually to CARE, LCIF and SightFirst II
We contribute annually to Leader Dogs for the Blind
We collect and accept donations of used eyeglasses and used hearing aids
We recycle newspapers at several locations in Spokane
We collect and contribute to annual White Cane Days
We distribute Thanksgiving food baskets to the needy
Instead of a 'gift exchange' at our Christmas Social our members purchase childrens mittens, scarves, and caps, which are donated to schools
Hillyard Lions have fun at meetings and at projects
COME VISIT us at our meetings

| 1) Officer Installation & potluck picnic 2009-06-13 valid for 1 day Officer Installation and potluck picnic at Lion Pat Wilson's ABOUT 2:00 PM Meat and buns provided by club bring your own refreshments Meeting @ installation replaces second monthly meeting 2) Hillyard Days Bingo 2009-08-07 to 2009-08-09 valid for 3 days Hillyard Days weekend. Setup bingo booth Friday morning Aug 7, with possible operate that evening. Operate bingo booth Saturday and Sunday. Booth takedown, and store, Sunday evening. 3) Pancake Feed 2009-10-11 valid for 1 day Pancake Feed @ Senior Center Have fun preparing breakfast |
